The breeders have turned this wonderful creature into a four legged Farrah Fawcett. That's why they have such a hard time winning the Group in major shows, let alone BIS. Judges look at them as all bark and no bite. Border collies are way worse than Malinous as far as needing something to do.

The only thing needed to own a malionis is to give the dog time and love just like any dog, if you can’t spend 2 to 4 hours a day with the dog don’t get one but that the same with any dog, and don’t think you can tie it outside, leave It and do your thing, absolutely not, you take it everywhere you go.

I have a rescue right now. He’s a German shepherd. The breeders are very irresponsible!! I wish I knew how to find them so I can report them. They have working line shepherds but are breeding them as pet line shepherds. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. Poor Zeusy has all this anxiety and energy but doesn’t know what to do with it. And also I just realized he only has one testicle. My poor baby.

I rescued my boy from a farm at eight months. He was not a fan of the chicken coop or outdoor life. Very unhappy! He is now happy as a camper going in and out of the house at his will. Nocturnal is the truth! And he LOVES tearing apart boxes. Every Amazon box becomes his favorite toy. He loves a 30 minute walk each day. What a total joy! Won’t leave my side!

My malinois X Doberman looks & behaves very similarly and had same health issues as a rescue; guardia etc.

I’ve had over the years many strong breeds and I have to say just like the pitbull the Presa is one big softie . My Jack Russell & chihuahua are on a different level . Don’t listen to the hype . Do your research, pick the most chilled puppy and enjoy . The Presa can make for great first time dogs . Defo not German Shepard etc .

Would've been cool to see the documentary on real old line working daschund teckles. Got a working teckle in her last chapter in life going soon. Working her in tight places. When bred right their drive should be endless like a true terrier. Hunted behind apbt, curs, hounds terriers daschund should be no different.

Which do you prefer in the Doberman breed, a male or a female?

Two time Doberman owner here. If you get a Doberman (or any breed, for that matter) PLEASE be responsible. This is the most terrific breed. But they need a lot of exercise and training. Too many people get dogs and are lazy then ruin the dog. Dobermans are too special to ruin. My 5 year old male Dobe died 1 year ago today from DCM and I am still heartbroken. Dobes are truly special.

The lady with the puppy biting the table, imo should switch up her tone. She is being WAY to easy with that NO. Certain breeds need a more firm hand with bad habits. Tone is sometimes more important than the word itself.
